Aykut Altınışık is a Turkish
archaeologist, photographer, lecturer and highly experienced official
tour guide in Turkey. He has studied ancient history and archaeology for
4 years, earned a degree in classical archaeology at the University of
Ankara (1994). He has worked on important archeological excavations (ancient
Smyrna, Magnesia Ad Meandrum) all around Turkey during his archaeology
studies. He also worked at the Research Institute on Mediterranean Civilizations
in Antalya.
He started working as a tour leader and official tour guide in 1997 and
he has been doing it with great enthusiasm since then. He is specialized
in escorted archaeological tours and gulet cruises in Turkey with small
